AB - In order to investigate the effects of mineral phosphorous and phosphate solubilizing bacteria on growth and yield of Tellar cultivar of soybean, an experiment was conducted as a split plot in the form of randomized complete block design with four replications in the region of Dasht – e – Naz , in the city of Sari in 2012. The main plots included three levels of phosphorous (zero, 50, and 100 Kg.h-1) subplots were four inoculation treatments (the control which was not inoculated, inoculation with Pseudomonas fluorescens, inoculation  with Pseudomonas putida, and simultaneous inoculation with P. fluorescens and P. putida). Results indicated that the maximum seed yield of soybean (195.6 g.m-2) was obtained using 50 Kg.h-1 of phosphorous, and the gradient of yield declined (185.4 g.m-2) while the rate of phosphorous raised to 100 Kg.h-1. Under the effects of seed inoculation with bacteria, the maximum seed yield (208 g.m-2) was obtained using both bacteria strains (P. fluorescens and P. putida). As the interaction effects of phosphorous and bacteria, the maximum seed yield (251 g.m-2) was resulted using 100 Kg.h-1 phosphorous and both bacteria strains. There was no significant difference between simultaneous application of 50 Kg.h-1 phosphorous and both bacteria (249.4 g.m-2) and application of 100 Kg.h-1 phosphorous and both bacteria strains. The results showed that seed  yield did not decrease significantly in the presence of both bacteria strains and lowering the level of phosphorous from 100 Kg.h-1 to 50 Kg.h-1.
