Integrated weed management of mung bean (Vigna radiate L.) in Masjed Soleiman region
Abstract:   (3840 Views)

In order to investigate integrated weed management in mung bean (NM 92) an experiment was conducted in randomized complete blocks design with three replications in 2014-2015 growing season at Masjed Soleyman. Treatments were trifluralin (960 g ai/ha), imazethapyr (75 g ai/ha), trifluralin+imazethapyr (480+100 g ai/ha), trifluralin (480 g ai/ha)+imazethapyr (75 g ai/ha)+cultivation (×1), trifluralin (480 g ai/ha)+imazethapyr (100 g ai/ha)+cultivation (×2), trifluralin (480 g ai/ha)+cultivation (×1), trifluralin (480 g ai/ha)+cultivation (×2), imazethapyr (75 g ai/ha)+cultivation (×1), imazethapyr (75 g ai/ha)+cultivation (×2), cultivation (×1), cultivation (×2), weeding and weedy. Results showed that trifluralin+imazethapyr+cultivation (×2) was the best treatment in weed control. Grain yield of mung bean was 19.62, 19.94 and 25.23 g/m in trifluralin+cultivation (×2), imazethapyr+cultivation (×2) and trifluralin+imazethapyr+cultivation (×2), respectively. In these treatments yield was increased because of the increase in the number of pods in the plant, number of seed in the pods and number of branched stems. Also, weed was better controlled in these treatments compared to other treatments.
